The Beech Mountain Club is a private, social club of over 1,600 member families. The club has many outside amenities, state-of-the-art facilities and equipment, winter sports opportunities and the services of a professional staff dedicated to providing members and their guests with all the activities and programs you would expect at a mountain retreat.

The main Clubhouse overlooks the 10th and 14th holes of the Club's golf course, with views to the northeast and into the mountain ranges of northeastern Tennessee and southern Virginia. The Clubhouse is the main dining location and has a bar on both the main and lower levels.

There are fees per person for use of these facilities and advance authorization is required. Please make sure to complete the guest application form and forward it to us at least 4 days prior to your stay.

Beech Mountain Club

Beech Mountain Club's spectacular 18-hole, ridge-top golf course boasts magnificent views of mountain ranges in all three states. Originally designed by Willard Byrd, the course has undergone a renovation over the last ten years using a master plan developed by noted Golf Course Architect, Tom Jackson. The course is 6,250 yards in length and the elevations are between 4,200 and 4,700 feet, so the average summer temperature rarely exceeds 79 degrees.

Access to the course are only available to members and their guests, and fortunately, you are our guest. Daily fees vary based on the season and the member, that would be your hosts, the Gallaghers, have to request access, so please let us know in advance of your stay if you plan on golfing at the club.

With 10 Har-Tru composition clay courts, stadium seating for over 100 spectators and a recently renovated Pro-Shop, the Club has one of the High Country's premier tennis facilities. USTPA professionals are on hand daily to help members and their guests develop their skills through private lessons, clinics and camps for all ages.

The Club Pickleball Center has 5 beautiful new courts located at the heart of the Club's recreation campus. Deck seating and a convenient sports cafe overlook the courts along with a covered pavilion for social events. Pickleball teaching professionals direct the Club's program during the summer which includes private lessons, clinics, league and tournament play, as well as special sessions throughout the week.

Beech Club Pool

At the heart of the Beech Mountain Club's recreation campus is an interactive family pool surrounded by a fitness center, pickleball and tennis courts, pavilion, playground and day camp.

The Club's comprehensive recreation program offers group excursions, art and music classes, organized card games, social events, lunch and learn presentations and the opportunity to join a wide variety of activities.

Dining at the Beech Mountain Club is open only if you purchase a guest card for $15 per day. So if you take advantage of any of the recreation at the club on a Thursday through Saturday evening, make sure to dine at the club. The views are unbelievable. Make reservations by calling 828-387-4747 to ensoure you get a seat by the window or outside.

Beech Mountain Club Fees

Guest cards are required for everyone who uses the facilities at the Club. Guest card fees are $15 per day or $50 per week. This gives the guest access to all of the facilities, except the areas below, which require an additional user fee.

Tennis

Monday through Saturday after 12:30 p.m. and Sundays are $9 per person. All other times the fees are $15 per person.

Fitness

Workout Fees are $5 per day per person, or $25 for a weekly pass. Fitness classes are offered for $6 per call. Personal training appointments are available. Some time restrictions apply June through August.
